I’m Ellie!
I came to New York as a solo traveller from Kilkenny Ireland. I’ve travelled around the world, and I’m glad to call New York home.

When I arrived in NYC I worked as a bicycle messenger, so I have intimate knowledge of the city and pride myself in finding the best hidden gems New York has to offer. For the past 9 years I’ve been hosting guests at my private residence in East Williamsburg.

Through the years I’ve hosted all kinds of travelers coming from all over the world. I’m excited to be your guide!

Upstairs Front Room

We have a bright and spacious front room available, featuring its own separate door and two large windows. The room is furnished with bright white furniture, including a small work desk with a lamp, a good-sized wardrobe, and a full-sized bed with two storage drawers underneath. It also boasts a comfortable pillow top mattress with four pillows for extra comfort and stability, and a 23-inch smart television.

Upstairs Back Room

This room features an antique mahogany full-size bed with a comfortable pillow top mattress, and two large windows overlooking the garden. It includes a built-in wardrobe, a good-sized work desk, and a large lamp providing soft lighting. The space is quiet, peaceful, and cozy, and comes equipped with a 23-inch smart television.

Downstairs Garden Room

We have a charming first-floor room tucked away at the back of the house. It features a large queen-sized bed with a sturdy headboard and a comfortable medium-firm Zinus Green Tea mattress, complemented by four comfortable pillows and a velvet blanket. The room includes a full-sized wardrobe, a 40-inch smart television mounted on the wall in front of the bed, and a cozy rug on the floor.

The host, Helen, is very nice, responds quickly and was happy to give me some recommendations for the area. I only used the bedroom and bathroom because I was mostly out and about. Both were clean, the bed was also comfy, and the room has a desk where I was able to work. The area is absolutely great, I loved the mix of industrial sites right next to cute restaurants, coffee shops and vintage shops. Helen's place is just a stone throw away from the L train.

Fivefive Morgan was great! Really enjoyed my time there.The apt is near a lot of great bars, restaurants, and cafes in East Williamsburg and neighboring Bushwick. Would recommend staying here.

55Morgan is very convenient for any person looking for a good location and a reasonable price.The room is independent which gives you privacy. Helen was so helpful with time arrangements , allowing us to let our luggages a bit longer, and advising nice restaurants.

Awesome spot. Close to everything and super walkable. Room was very quiet. Some of the best coffee is in a quarter mile distance and lots of cool vintage stores. This is a great spot and I highly recommend!
